This web site has a pedigree. Parts of it come from previous sites, and parts of it come from my own creative endeavours and attempts.

Before this incarnation, Laura Seabrook's Queer Stuff was the title I used for my online Journal at my home site, Laura's Life. Then I decided to use this title for a series of comics for a local magazine called Out Now, and changed the online Journal renamed to Laura's Life and Times.

Later, as part of my directed studies for my Bachelor of Visual Arts Course, I needed to upload a version of of Hypergraphia #4, one of my comix/zines. It seemed logical to reuse the name for this site, since it was more appropriate for the contents.

I had on previous occassions created several sites dealing with various issues about being "queer" and different: Transcendence, The Tiresias Factor, and Transitions. It seemed sensible to combine these into a larger site, and this one is the result.
