What do I get?
All APANA members in the Hunter Region are entitled to:- Free hands-on help at the hub any day or night to resolve any computer related problem. (Includes virus and spyware removal; hardware upgrades and installation of member's software). Hands-on help is also available from members of the Admin Team on fixit days which are held in conjunction with Regional Committee meetings.
- A free account to access email and news through their existing connection (whether with us or a commercial ISP).
- Mailing lists, Webpages and/or FTP space are provided free of charge to every member who has paid one of the access fees. For individuals and non-profit organistions who are APANA members, the charge for these services alone is $50 per year unless an existing member agrees to host those sites on their behalf.
- A fixed IP address if required for connecting existing networks or registration of your domain name (http://yourdomain.apana.org.au).
- Free advice and support from other members in the region by email or by phone to help you resolve any minor computer problems you may have.
